PRAYER CHAIN

If you have a Prayer Request, will you please call the church office (724 843-4190) or Blanche Bobin (724 535-4049 / 724 622-4090) or Pastor Greg (412 916-9699) to start the prayer chain.

We will then call the Team Leaders who will forward the call.

OUR CHOIR WILL BE TAKING SUMMER BREAK: June thro August.

Free 37th Street Gazebo Concerts in the Park – July 23rd with the Beaver County Brass Band. 7:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. Every Friday 'till August 20th.   In event of rain, all performances will take place in the gym of the Beaver County Christian School located directly behind 37th Street Park. 

B.F. LION’S CLUB  is selling tickets for the Red Barn Theater  “Honus and Me” for Tuesday, August 17th at Red Barn Theater, Ellwood-Zelienople Road. Curtain; 8:00 p.m.  If you would like to have dinner prior to the play at Kaufman House, Zelienople – the cost is $10.00.  Get your tickets from: John Gump, Gary Hackett, Don Davison or Keith Walker.

Deadline for tickets:  August 15th.

VOLUNTEERS  NEEDED FOR MEALS-ON-WHEELS – Drivers are needed to deliver the meals Monday-Friday.

SIDNEY KANE SCHOLARSHIP – applications for the Sydney Kane Scholarship in the amount of $500.00 is available to anyone who plans on attending a 4 year college or trade school.   Application forms are in the church office.  Deadline is August 1st

United Methodist Women – will meet at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 5th. We will enjoy a delicious dessert prepared by Judy Hoschar. Devotions will be by Jo Ross. We will then be working together to fill school bags full of school supplies for UMCOR. Those who signed up to donate some of the supplies, please remember to bring them with you to this meeting. If you find you are unable to attend, you can leave them in the church office and mark for UMW UMCOR School Supply kits.  Mark your calendars and plan on joining us for a time of fun and fellowship!

Peach Festival will be held at CHUM on August 14th

From 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Lots of helpers are needed to: Prepare peaches, make salads, bake something, and servers will be needed.

                               We also need you to come and eat!

Ladies and Gents!  Here we go again!  It is Bake Sale Time at the Peach Festival.  WE NEED ALL THE BAKED GOODS WE CAN GET – to make this a success – on August 14th.  Please plan on helping out by baking pies, breads, cookies, brownies and candy  - our best sellers.   Monetary Donations are greatly appreciated!!!!  Donations can be given to Vella Ruth Papa. Checks can be made out to CHUM and marked Baked Sale.
