Support Our Missionary Abroad
The United Methodist Women have voted to suppport Florence Mefor as our missionary abroad.
Florence is a nurse/midwife in the Maternal and Child Health Unit of Mutambara Mission Hospital in Zimbabwe.
We are collection personal care items to send for the Christmas mailing.
There are boxes marked for your donations in the sanctuary and chapel area.
The following is a list of the needed items:  toothpaste, toothbrushes, bath soap, lotion, powder, nail files, hair care items, shampoo, etc.
These items will be shipped the first week of December.
Thank you for your support of this missionary.
If you wish to donate cash toward this project please give it to Adelaide Burry (marked accordingly).

KIDS' BAGS
CHUM Education Committee voted in October to discontinue Children's Church as we reevaluate the program.
Throughout the coming weeks, Kid's Bags will be handed out after the Children's Message.
Dor December, the Kids will receive Advent Packets - but the bags will not be ready until January.
The bags will contain colored pencils, crayons, a clipboard, coloring pages and/or puzzles for the kids.
And .... a small food treat (gummy snacks, etc.)
There will be two sets of bags: Reader's Bags and Non-Reader's Bags.
The Non-Readers will contain mostly biblical coloring pages & the Reader's Bags will contain biblical coloring pages and word games.

THE NURSERY FOR INFANTS FOR FIVE YEAR-OLDS WILL STAY THE SAME

The kids from F.R.O.G. will help decorate both sets of bags.  If anyone would like to donate supplies, it would be very much appreciated!
Items needed are: clip boards, colored pencils, small boxes of crayons and any religious coloring book or puzzle book, and treats (Veggie Tales Gummy Treats at Giant Eagle are very good)
We know this is new, but we think it will be a good thing.
We appreciate your help.  Thank You
